Ensure a seamless experience with our PCMflash software by obtaining both the essential dongle and a minimum of one module during your initial purchase. The PCMFlash integrated software solution is designed for reprogramming ECUs and TCUs across various vehicles, including Volkswagen, Skoda, Ford, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan/Infiniti, Subaru, Honda/Acura, Hyundai/Kia, Renault, Toyota/Lexus, and more.
To get started, you’ll need the dongle, which serves as the basic equipment, and at least one module. Note that the modules won’t function without a dongle. Choose the module/ecu you want to tune by providing the information in the order comments, and we will provide a dongle with the appropriate activation to program our encrypted calibraiton files, unqie to your dongle.
PCMflash supports operation through the ADS adapter (version 1, not compatible with all ECUs) and any J2534-compatible adapter with the right drivers and libraries. The software, marketed on a module basis, boasts a user-friendly interface and employs the Guardant dongle for protection against unauthorized access. It allows flashing of both backup (.vbf) and binary (bin) files, with checksum verification and correction for most modules when flashing binary files. Conversion from VBF/GDS to BIN is supported when the ECU lacks reading capability.
The USB dongle requires linkage to a PC, and the authorization process is automatic, requiring an internet connection during the first attempt to work with an ECU. The dongle is versatile and can be used on multiple computers.
Technical support is directly provided by the developer. However, please note that in the event of dongle loss, module transfer is not possible. In such cases, a new dongle and software purchase is necessary. Pinouts are not provided.
Important: Modules may not be activated on weekends and public holidays. Additionally, modules cannot be deactivated, and providing an incorrect dongle number will void the possibility of a refund.
